摘要：An HGW mobile device can perform data communication on the basis of aplurality of wireless communication methods with different theoretical maximum

transmission speeds, i.e., on the basis of a mobile wireless communication method and awireless LAN communication method. Since the HGW mobile device is provided with amobile wireless communication unit and a wireless LAN communication unit , it is able torelay data transmission between an external network and a client terminal . Atransmission speed initializing unit sets a value according to a theoretical maximumtransmission speed of the wireless communication method with the slower theoreticalmaximum transmission speed, i.e., the theoretical maximum transmission speed of themobile wireless communication method, as an initial transmission speed for the wirelessLAN communication unit to first start wireless LAN communication with the clientterminal on the basis of the wireless LAN communication method.
