摘要：Railroad crossing structure for a paved roadway over at least a pair of spacedrails mounted on cross ties to form a railroad track and supported by a ballast comprisesa flexible center pad which extends transversely between each pair of spaced rails andflexible side pads which extend transversely between each segment of paved roadwayand the rail nearest thereto. The flexible center and side pads are bonded directly to theballast and comprise a resilient base layer containing a cured flexible thermoset resin anda filler of comminuted scrap rubber, and a resilient wear layer on top of the base layerand containing a cured flexible thermoset resin and a filler of finely divided rubber.
