摘要：Provided are approaches for software defect reporting. Specifically, oneapproach provides identifying a software defect; generating a software defect report,wherein the software defect report is generated in real-time as the software defect isidentified during testing of the test case, wherein the software defect report is submitted
by a testing entity to a software developer responsible for creating a software producthaving the software defect, and wherein the defect report contains information toidentify the location of the software defect in the application code of the softwareproduct; determining if the software defect report information is complete; and if thesoftware defect report information is not complete, the updating the defect reportinformation, determining if the software defect is reproducible, and recreating thesoftware defect in the case that the software defect is reproducible.
