The Spring Festival is the most important traditional festival in China, and it is also a time for family reunions. This year, I spent the Spring Festival with my family, and it was a very memorable experience.

On the eve of the Spring Festival, my family and I cleaned the house and decorated it with red lanterns, couplets, and other festive decorations. We also prepared a lot of delicious food, such as dumplings, fish, chicken, and various kinds of snacks.

At midnight, we set off fireworks to welcome the new year. The sky was lit up with colorful fireworks, and the sound of firecrackers echoed throughout the neighborhood. We hugged each other and wished each other a happy new year.

On the first day of the new year, we put on new clothes and visited our relatives and friends. We exchanged greetings and gave each other red envelopes filled with

money, which is a traditional way of expressing good wishes. We also enjoyed delicious food and played games together.

During the Spring Festival, we also watched the Spring Festival Gala on TV, which is a popular variety show featuring music, dance, and comedy. We laughed and sang along with the performers, and it was a great way to relax and enjoy the festive atmosphere.

In addition, we also visited some famous tourist attractions, such as the Temple of Heaven and the Forbidden City. We admired the ancient architecture and learned about the history and culture of our country.

Overall, spending the Spring Festival with my family was a wonderful experience. It reminded me of the
