摘要：An electrooptic liquid-crystal display (11), in particular for installation in motor-vehicle instrument panels (dashboards, facias) (13) behind a film (14) covering thereceiving opening (12) on the display side is to be designed while maintaining thevibration-proof zebra contact of a structured conductive rubber (50), such that, inconjunction with a low requirement for installation space on the display side, no sort ofstructural parts project beyond the plane (16) on the display side of the display (11), withthe result that the latter can be positioned directly behind the instrument panel film (14).The smaller display pane (15) is positioned forwards for this purpose, so that there isavailable next to the latter and to the larger rear pane (17), which laterally overlaps saiddisplay pane, behind the front plane (16) a free space (33) in which the side rim (22) of therear pane can be embraced both by retaining claws (31), fixed to the housing, formechanically locating the display (11) on the housing (23) as with contact clips (37), whichsupport pins (41) which point rearwards at right angles from the plane of the display (11)in an extension of the yoke (40) of said clips and which, while being laterally supportedagainst the display housing (23), support, with the interposition of the conductive rubber(50), the contact pressure of a printed circuit board (48) held on the housing (23) behindthe display transverse to the panes (15, 17).
