摘要：Preparation of 2-aminoethanesulphonylazidic acid addition salts comprises: (a)oxidative halogenation of 2-aminoethanethiol or bis-(2-aminoethyl)-disulphide, both inacid addition salt form, to give 2-aminoethanesulphonyl halogenide acid addition salt; and(b) reacting the acid addition salt with the corresponding nucleophilic azide in a polarsolvent. Also claimed are: (A) 2-aminoethanesulphonylazide hydrochloride; and (B) theuse of 2-aminoethanesulphonylazide hydrochloride (which does not need to beseparated from the solution produced in step b)) for the preparation of 2-aminoethanesulphonylamide hydrochloride, which is then reacted with formaldehyde togive taurolidine or taurultam.
