  1. 能听、说、读、写单词:listening to music, washing clothes, cleaning the room, writing a letter, writing an e-mail.
  2. 能运用句子What is he/she doing? He/She’s writing an e-mail/…询问别人正在做什么并作答。
  3. 能听懂、学说Let’s chant以此来巩固短语和句型。.
  4. 学唱歌曲“What Are You Doing?”
  5. 培养学生关心别人,乐于助人的高尚品质以及大胆设计生活用品的创新意识和能力。
  • 教学重点、难点分析:

1. 教学重点:掌握五个四会动词短语ing的形成。

2. 教学难点:动词短语ing形式的读音及拼写。

  • 课前准备
  1. 教师准备卡片、动作道具。
  2. 教师准备课件,录音机及磁带。
  3. 学生准备个别道具和图片。
    • 教学设计:

Ⅰ. Warm-up/Review

  1. Let’s chant P44*action*复习旧内容)( Kingsun)
  2. Go to the English corner.(以值日生展开)

Eg: What can you do? Show me, please. What are you doing? I am….Look! What is … doing? He’s/She’s …..

Ⅱ. Presentation/Practice

    1. Show a story “ Amy’s Day” to present new phrases.DV

Today is Sunday. It’s 11:30.Amy is cleaning the room. But she’s very hungry. She shouts to mother.

“ Mom, I am hungry. What are you doing? Are you cooking?”

“ No, I am washing clothes. Look at your father! What is he doing?”

“ Dad, what are you doing?” “ I am writing an e-mail.”

“ Mom, father is writing an e-mail.” “ What is your brother doing?”

“ Mike, what are you doing?” “ I am listening to music.”

“ Mom, brother is listening to music.” “ What about your sister?”

“ Oh, she’s writing a letter.” “ Is your grandpa here?”

“ Yes, he’s reading the newspaper.” “ What is your grandma doing?”

“ Wow, she is cooking.” “ Lunch is ready.” Says grandma.

“ Thank you, grandma.”

    1. Answer questions: What is mother /father /sister /Mike /Amy /grandpa /grandma doing? He’s/She’s….( CAI 图片提示/声音)
    2. Read the phrases (班、组、队、个人)
    3. Pay attention to the “ing” form. Eg: (对比)listen---listening to the music …write---writing a letter( What’s missing?)…
    4. Do the action and say in sentences.(T---Ss, S1---Ss, Ss---S1)

Eg: Who’s ….? / What is ….doing?

    1. Game “ True or False” (判断声音与图片是否一致)( CAI )
    2. Spelling game---Half seen. ( 根据单词的上面部分猜拼写.) ( CAI )
    3. Writing practice---Fill in the blanks. ( 重听DV填空.) ( CAI )
    4. Check and Read it. ( 板书 )  
    5. Let’s chant. ( CAI )
    6. Look at some pictures and make a new chant. ( CAI )

Ⅲ. Extension/Consolidation

  1. Finish the exercises in activity book.(P36) ( CAI )
  2. Talk about the family album and show them. ( Kingsun)
  3. Enjoy a song“What Are You Doing?” ( Kingsun)

Ⅳ. Summery

  1. What do we learn today?
  2. Help your mother at home and design a beautiful album for her.
