一、教学目的、要求

1.学生能听得懂，会说，会读单词及短语 join,  after school, look for 。

2.学生能听得懂，会说，会读日常交际用语和句型：Is he/she…ing?Yes,he/she is. No,he/she isn`t. Are they …ing?Yes,they are. No ,theyaren`t. I’ll go and join hem.

二、教学重点、难点

1.学生能听得懂，会说，会读现在进行时的一般疑问句及其回答。

2.I’ll go and join them 的读音。

四、教学过程

1. Greetings.

1.T:Hello,boys and girls!

S:Hello,Miss Sun!

T:I`m new here.I am your new English teacher!Here are some presents for you！Lucky cards!（出示明信片）Do you want them?

S:Yes!

T：OK.I am looking for the lucky dog!(师选择幸运儿，并赠送卡片,后学生一起说，look for ,look for ,look for the lucky dog，赠送卡片的过程中渗透look for)

2.T：What is your name?What is your hobby?（赠送卡片时追问学生的爱好）

T：Do you like singing/running?

S:Yes ,we do.

T:But now,we are having an English lesson.We should sing after school!(揭示课题)

T:What do you usually do after school?

S:I usually…after school.

T: I`ll go and join you!(read:join)

B．Presentation and practice.

1.T:It is cold today.Let us do some exercise!I say ,you do!

 Stand ,sit ,jog, run ,play baskerball…

1. To a boy:What are you doing?

        Boy: I am …ing.

      To class:Is he …ing?

        Class:Yes , he is /No,he isn`t.

2. To a girl:What are you doing?

                 Is she…?

3. Choose two Ss

To class:Are they …?

    Practice: Yes,he/she is. No,he/she isn`t. Yes,they are. No ,they aren`t.

2.T: Where are the lucky dogs,come here ,let us play a guessing game.(课前拿到卡片的同学，根据卡片背面的提示做动作，其他同学猜)

  S：Is he /she …?

  S: Are they…?(练习本课的重点句型)

3.Say a rhyme.

1.(点击课件，出现高山)

   T：What is Gao Shan doing?（带着问题看课文动画）

   S:He is looking for WangBin.

  2.出示选择题

    Read the text after the tape. Find the answer in the text.

  3.Ask and answer.Read the text by yourself .Underline
